Park Elementary partnered with Penn State Health in a generous effort focused on supporting our students' academic success. Thanks to their thoughtful collaboration, every student at Park will receive a “Take Home Learning Kit” filled with essential school supplies.
In this unique initiative, each department at Penn State Health “adopted” a classroom, assembling school supply kits with crucial learning tools. These resources will provide our students with what they need to stay engaged with learning outside of the classroom.
This week, dedicated volunteers from the hospital personally delivered the kits to Park Elementary. Over the next few days, we will be distributing these kits to students, ensuring they are well-prepared to continue their educational efforts at home.
"We are incredibly grateful for the support from Penn State Health," said Trudi Smith, Principal of Park Elementary. "This partnership strengthens our community ties and directly contributes to helping our students reach their academic goals. We couldn’t ask for a more dedicated partner."
Park Elementary deeply appreciates this collaboration and the positive impact it will have on our students' learning experience. The combined efforts of our local community are essential in providing the best educational opportunities for all of our children.
