Today, Mr. Blair’s local history students had the opportunity to explore an 18th century home at Historic Rock Ford! They discussed colonial and revolutionary themes while getting a real view of life in the 1700s.

Fire Fridays at CHS are never something to miss! For this experiment, Mr. Zettlemoyer's class trapped flammable gas from a spray bottle into bubbles from a mixture of water and dish soap. Students soaked their arms in water, then picked up the bubbles and held a lighter close. This heated up the gas and caused them to burn! The water in the bubbles and on the hands captures the heat.

Today 8th graders from the Hill braved the rainy weather to visit Heritage Creek Farms in Mount Joy. They learned about seed distribution in pumpkins, kinetic energy in rope-making, and all about livestock feed. The chickens were a huge hit!

Great job to our girls volleyball team for their persistent battle against the Nighthawks. While the outcome was not in our favor they definitely made the other team work hard for their win.
